Promotional artwork for this episode

This update introduces a new creature, the Dodo Bird. When you touch this new bird, it will drop a "bird bomb", which creates a mini-game where you try to see how many consecutive times you can drop the bird's guano on Pygmy heads (who look rather annoyed and shake it off). The Dodo Bird also will go after fish, but will take a Pygmy with it if the Pygmy is holding a fish.

The Underwater Area

A whirlpool ability, waving seaweed, and a school of fish swimming by was added to The Underwater Area. It is unclear if this school of fish is the same type of fish as that which the Pygmies catch and eat.

Achievements are now recorded in OpenFeint, the feature that was introduced in Ep 13: March of the Fire Ants.

  • This was the first (and only, so far) bird to be introduced to the Pocket God World but not the first animal.
  • The term "Flipping the Bird" is used to describe an obscene gesture in the United States and some other parts of the world.
  • By mistake, Ep 20: Stop! My App is On Fire! got this episode's name. Because of this, when you started the app, it would say "Ep 21: Flipping the Bird (for real this time)!
