Clash of the Frightened is the 2nd episode for Pocket God Facebook. It was released on the 21st of January 2011.
New Features[]
This episode added the ability to taunt your friends after killing them, a sweet invitation for revenge. Furthermore, the episode brought Rival God Challenges in to the game, in which the player is able to trigger the wrath of a rival god by killing a pygmy with the same power multiple times. The player can then engage in a social quest where he/she and his/her friends can participate (and share the loot). When the quest is beaten, the player can win a special idol for the island.
Taunt Your Friends[]
Pygmy provokes another pygmy
Another new feature added to this update was the ability to taunt. When you kill one of your Pygmy friends, a new icon appears in front of their slot instead of a skull. The picture involves a Pygmy laughing at a Pygmy crying. This goes along with the player's new ability to "taunt" their friend by posting in their wall that they had just sacrificed them. The post on the wall shows a small snapshot of how the friend was sacrificed.
Rival Gods[]

A few changes to the game have taken place with this episode. The main change is that if the player overuse a certain power or feature of the game, a Rival God of that specific ability will challenge you to sacrifice a certain amount of Pygmies in an allotted amount of time. The player can ask your friends to help you or you can even help your friends and cash in on some of the loot. If you win the challenge, you will be awarded a certain amount of Sacrifice Points and Experience and an idol version of that rival god for your island. Also, some of the veteran interactions have slightly changed their look, one example being the Orange Fish.
