The start of "The Runs"
The Runs is a mini-game that takes place in the Lava Tube. The Runs was introduced in Ep 32: Crack is Wack. To get to the lava tube you have to make a crack under the pygmy by dragging your finger across the ground. The crack will open up and the Pygmy will fall down to the lava tube.
Objective
The objective of this mini-game is to see how far you can run in the Lava Tube by jumping from platform to platform. At the start of the game the pygmy falls onto a platform and gets burned by magma. He yelps and starts running. There are a few obstacles including Bat Poo and Molten Lava Rock. Bat Poo will make the pygmy slow down, but the Molten Lava Rock will kill him. Also, some platforms lower when you land on it while others have stalactites that come down from the ceiling, impaling the pygmy if touched. If a pygmy misses a platform he lands in Lava, where he meets his sizzling death. Your score is measured in Oogles. Occasionally, a Demon will pop up from the background and follow your Pygmy.

- According to Dave Castelnuovo, the Demon is a tribute to Ronnie James Dio.
- A spinoff of Pocket God is based off of this mini-game.
- This game may take place in the underworld, hence the demon and the gloomy backgrounds.
- The game's title "The Runs" is a play-on word of which "the runs" can also mean diarreha.
